| The BNL Social and Cultural Club endeavors to build closer community ties between Brookhaven National Laboratory
and its neighbors. It promotes, supports and encourages activities for social interaction between BNL employees and
the surrounding community through ethnic food parties, outdoor picnics and barbecues, field trips,
karaoke sessions, and other social and cultural activities. |

The Club holds dance socials regularly, and also offers weekly dance lessons and workshops conducted either by a
member who wants to share for free his dance moves, or by a paid dance instructor from outside of BNL.
At present, the dance lessons are scheduled every Friday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm followed by a 2 1/2 - hr. general dancing
at the North Ballroom, Brookhaven Center, Brookhaven National Laboratory. For the most current lesson schedule,
click on "Activities & Lessons" on the left side bar.
